I’m Kevin Burke, and I’m the founder and CEO of WholesomeONE. I believe WholesomeONE can help you and millions of people heal from pain and experience good health like they never imagined possible.
This is a very personal project for me. I have a condition called ankylosing spondylitis. It’s basically arthritis of the spine. My joints become swollen and inflamed. The cause is unknown. Over time, the affected bones join together. And if untreated I would become severely hunched over and eventually lose my capacity to breathe. Just as you would, I decided I wouldn’t let this happen to me.
I went to conventional doctors and they prescribed daily doses of pills and weekly needle injections of a popular pharmaceutical drug that has unknown long-term side effects. I did this for years, and frankly felt very little relief from the chronic pain I was dealing with. I was frustrated, decided that I needed to take more control over my treatment, and began looking for alternatives. After a lot of effort, I finally found yoga and nutritional supplements, and it changed my life.
I’ve never felt better and had more flexibility! And those drugs that were prescribed are no longer in my life. I don’t need them. And the conventional doctors, whom I still see, agree that yoga has been more effective for me and safer.
I just wish that I was aware of holistic options sooner and that it didn’t take so much effort to find a therapy. This is what WholesomeONE.com seeks to address.
I am deeply committed to helping people find natural holistic ways to heal from pain and experience good health. Through WholesomeONE, this is accomplished by bringing you the latest information, stories, opinions, local practitioners, experts, and products to guide you in natural health.
