Sugar has long been a primary suspect in contributing to illness. Now there is a smoking gun!
Rob Lustig states, “You could not enact a real-world study that would be more conclusive than this one.” Rob is a pediatric endocrinologist at the University of California, San Francisco and an author of an independent report produced by a team from the University of California and Stanford University. The report is “The Relationship of Sugar to Population-Level Diabetes Prevalence” and available for free online.
Cases of diabetes on a global scale have more than doubled over the last three decades. Nearly 10% adults worldwide are now affected by diabetes!
The report concludes that overeating is not causing diabetes and making people sick, but it is overeating sugar. Mr. Lustig goes on to say, “This study is proof enough that sugar is toxic.”
